The software’s key functionalities include Outage Prioritization, which automatically ranks outage events based on criteria such as the number of customers affected, the presence of critical facilities (hospitals, emergency services), and regulatory requirements. This ensures resources are allocated to maximize the benefit to the community.

Central to the software is Crew and Resource Management. This feature tracks the availability, location, skill set, and current assignment of every repair crew. It uses real-time location data (GPS) to dispatch the nearest and most qualified crew to a fault location, optimizing travel time. The system then generates and delivers a detailed, mobile work order to the crew, complete with safety instructions and network diagrams.
