Strategy 1: Farming Maps

The goal is to generate Item Level 82 white bases, which requires understanding monster drop mechanics:

Normal/Magic monsters: Drop items equal to Path of Exile 2 Currency the area level.
Rare monsters: Drop +1 item level higher than the area.
Unique monsters: Drop +2 item level higher than the area.

Steps for Map Farming:

1. Atlas Setup: Avoid nodes that increase item rarity. Ensure Ventor's Gamble reduction is not countered.
2. Waystones: Use Tier 16 Waystones without Rarity modifiers. Corrupt maps or use Omen orbs to control map levels.
3. Atlas Nodes: Focus on +1 Monster Level nodes to maximize item levels.
4. Tablets: Utilize Visions of Paradise Unique Tablet for +1 area level twice. Regular Irradiation Tablets work for standard atlas nodes.

League Mechanics: Breach and Abyss content are particularly effective. Abyssal Depths are always +1 level higher than the base map, increasing the likelihood of high-value white drops.

Strategy 2: Temple Farming

Temple farming is currently the most profitable Negative Rarity method, but it requires precision. After reaching level 90, temples spawn as Area Level 81, meaning rare monsters drop Item Level 82 bases.

Setup Rules:

Avoid Alchemy labs, as they increase item rarity.
Follow a reliable temple planner to avoid unplayable or inefficient layouts.
Focus on rooms with high-level rare monster spawns.

Temple farming yields the highest returns in POE2 Items and buy POE 2 Jeweller's Orb, making it ideal for serious farmers.
