U4GM FH6: Complete the Hakone Nanamagari Touge race
The Japan map in Forza Horizon 6 delivers one of the most immersive driving experiences in the series, combining scenic highways, dense urban streets, and legendary mountain passes inspired by real-life Japanese Touge culture. Among the many driving routes available, Hakone Nanamagari Touge has quickly become one of FH6 Credits the most talked-about races in the game. Known for its tight hairpins, technical corners, and downhill sections, this challenge pushes players to master precision driving rather than relying purely on speed.
Hakone Nanamagari Touge is also an important part of the Series 1 Summer Gazoo Racer weekly challenge. Completing it rewards players with valuable FH6 Credits, Summer Season points, and progression bonuses. However, many players struggle to locate the event on the map, especially during the early stages of the game. Fortunately, unlocking and completing the race becomes much easier once you understand the progression system and prepare the right FH6 Cars for the challenge.
Where to Unlock Hakone Nanamagari Touge
Hakone Nanamagari Touge is located in the Nangan region on the southwestern side of the FH6 Japan map, just southwest of Tokyo City. The route winds through mountainous terrain and captures the spirit of classic Japanese street racing roads. Because of its location and progression requirements, many players initially think the race is hidden or unavailable.
The reason it may not appear immediately is tied to your Discover Japan Stamp progression. Players must reach either the Blue Stamp or Traveller Stamp level before the race becomes visible. This means you will need to continue participating in story events, festival races, and regional challenges to gain the necessary Wristbands and progression points.
As you advance through the campaign, more events gradually unlock across the map, including Hakone Nanamagari Touge. Once it appears, you can enter the event and begin preparing for one of the toughest technical races in the game.
The Role of the Gazoo Racer Weekly Challenge
Hakone Nanamagari Touge serves as the final stage of the Series 1 Summer Gazoo Racer weekly challenge. This challenge revolves around the 2022 Toyota GR86, one of the most balanced beginner-friendly sports cars in the FH6 Cars roster.
To complete the challenge, players must:
Drive the 2022 Toyota GR86
Finish four stages of the Gazoo Racer challenge
Earn three stars at Speed Zones
Accumulate six Speed Skills
Complete the Hakone Nanamagari Touge race
The GR86 can be purchased from the Autoshow for 28,000 FH6 Credits if you do not already own one. Although some players prefer upgrading their vehicles immediately, the stock configuration of the GR86 is already capable of handling the challenge effectively.
Completing the entire Gazoo Racer weekly challenge rewards players with 25,000 FH6 Credits and five Summer Season reward points. These rewards make the event highly worthwhile, especially for players looking to expand their garage and collect additional Forza Horizon 6 Cars early in the game.
